Inspired by 300 years of Navy tradition, Black Tot holds Caribbean rum at its heart, using some of the finest examples from Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica to create a rum for today. Unhindered by convention, we have turned Navy rum on its head – replacing the singular, sweet styles of the past with a multi-faceted, unsweetened rum that focuses on flavour.
Nose: Pineapple, mango, melon and a feast of Caribbean sweets.
Palate: Full-bodied texture laced with intense espresso at first, before developing into ginger cake, cloves, juicy honeydew melon and warm cardamom buns.
Finish: Lengthy, rounded off with tropical fruits, chili jam, masala chai and vanilla.
