The Fay family own different vineyards in Valtelina at different altitudes. This wine is made from the vineyards at the lowest altitude and is 100% Nebbiolo aged in large oak barrels for a year before release. It is a fruit-forward wine showing cherries, kirsch, raspberry, rose and plum characteristics. It should be drunk within about 5 years of the vintage while these fruit aromas and flavours are present and fresh.
